So, what about the other character classes ? Well we know that there is going to be 5 classes. We know that one will be the Witch Doctor and the other one, the good old Barbarian. According to the DIII community manager “Bashiok” of Blizzard Entertainment, the barbarian is the only class from prior games that is going to be in DIII.

DIII's community manager also said : “We might look at including one or two of the old classes to in the expansion, but that's too far off to think about right now.” Blizzard is already thinking about the DIII expansion even though Blizzard COO (Paul Sams) answered "It will be ready when it's ready" to the question "When can we expect Diablo III ?".
