So, what about the other character classes ? Well we know that there is going to be 5 classes. We know that there is the Witch Doctor, the good old Barbarian, and the Monk. According to the DIII community manager “Bashiok” of Blizzard Entertainment, the barbarian is the only class from prior games that is going to be in DIII.

DIII's community manager also said : “We might look at including one or two of the old classes to in the expansion, but that's too far off to think about right now.”
